  Come with plenty of patience and a big appetite. The portions are large and the quality of the food is just as grand. This is a place to come and enjoy conversation and breakfast or lunch with loved ones. This is not a place for a quick bite. The staff is exceedingly friendly. The line to get in speaks to all this little restaurant has to offer.

  Always busy, so you know that the food is fresh and worth it. It is a hidden gem. And the portions are generous.

  Nice small place to grab a bite to eat. It is always nice to avoid the chain restaurants and try something local. Great service and great food at Shorty's.

  Great service and amazing food. The breakfast enchiladas are absolutely delicious. Always great homemade breads too (corn bread, pumpkin bread, zucchini bread - yum!). I also appreciate that they get their ingredients from local farms. Love this place! :)

  There are things here besides breakfast (apparently) but I've never tried them. Their breakfasts are amazing. Their specials are astounding. I've gotten something different every time I have gone and I have NEVER been disappointed. The homemade zucchini bread is incredible.
  
  I've run out of superlatives and now I'm hungry and they're closed. So I'll sum it up like this:
  
  1. Are you hungry? If yes, see #2.
  2. Are they open? If yes, just go.
  
  Seriously. Just go. You'll love it.
