I loved the picnic area and how careful the lifeguards were with protecting everyone there

Great area for family events. We continuously come to this spot to enjoy the amenities of the picnic tables. It's further from the pier but less crowded. Fire pits and volley ball nets are near by. If you are planning an event and would like to have a picnic table I would suggest getting there early to reserve your spot. We usually get there no later than 9:30 to save ours.

What a wonderful State Beach to bring my nephew in a wheelchair to come down and have a picnic on the beach and a campfire right off of Newland and Pacific Coast Highway and if you look across the street with your binoculars you also get to see the Brookhurst Wetlands you can't believe how many wonderful birds are there right now and all of the baby ducks that are in the water please come take a look this weekend what a great Mother's Day this would be you can reserve a picnic table with a fire ring next to it the Huntington Beach State Park give him a call wonderful wonderful place to be clean restrooms on top of it check it out
