Awesome, informative customer service and pleasurable riding experience. Chose this over Amtrak because they allow my luggage.
Best decision ever. Should’ve started taking the train to downtown 10 years ago.
Easy access, lots of destination options.
Cheap transportation. It will take about the same time as driving to take the train to LA or further south during rush hour. The problem is that the trains are often late and can be very crowded in the general seating cars during busy times -- like Friday evenings. Book a reserved seat, or be flexible and pounce on a seat when it opens up -- you could be standing for a stop or two when you first get on. It's nice the cars have normal 110V outlets for your computer or phone charger.
