You can watch the surfers. Buy souvenirs, kites, thetes a Ruby Tuesdays at the end of the pier. Every Sunday theres a drum circle. Dukes barefoot bar and another restaurant underneath it are at the beginning of the pier. Fishing off the pier too.

Always crowded, but a lot of fun! Great place to catch some sun and people watch. Was up here for the Vans US Open of Surfing to watch the Skateboard competition. Pretty amazing how they set up an entire skate bowl on the sand! Will definitely check it out again next year.

That's an amazing beach to spend some spare time. From the top of the pier you can see the Pacific coast as far as the eye can see. Quite crowded of young guys, family and some tramps. The street to The pier is full of restaurant and pubs. Few parking slots available.
