    Awesome hike, bring kids. Very wide road and no cliff. Lots of bikes though.
    Expect it to be very busy on a weekend.

    Easy walking on wide trails gentle slopes. Mostly open country with few shady spots in the first 2 miles that we went. We saw several cyclists and judged that these trails are good for beginning trail riders.

    Beautiful trail, not to bad of a hike at all. Highly recommend going for a day.

    We thoroughly enjoyed hiking the upper Las Virgines canyon preserve. We started from the gate at the end of Las Virgines road (near Malibu Canyon Apartments). Take a right once you enter , keep going and take the left after crossing the fenced dish tower. We took the next left for canyon view. Which was amazing. Little steep towards the end but should be fine for a person with average fitness. Please don't get deterred by the dog poop every where on the trail, hope some one take action on that though. Irresponsible dog owners should not be allowed in the trail.

    Great place for hikes! Not too challenging, dog friendly, and absolutely beautiful!
