  Great place to hike. It’s not tagged up. Some spots are crowded. I got footage of echo cliffs and all the way terra point view on my YouTube channel. The video is called Santa Monica Mts. Some areas do have litter liquor but seems as it’s not the main focus compared to some parks. Overall you hardly get any costal views unless traveling towards Malibu. There is a waterfall down Escondido falls too but it’s about a 2 mile hike.

  Tucked into the middle of LA is a jewel of a park. Located in the middle of a former multimillionaire estate that was donated to the preservation of the natural beauty of the Santa Monica mountains. It is worth your time to visit this park that we just wandered into to find natural beauty and loads of wildlife, including cranes, deer, coyotes and other beautiful creatures.

  National Park Stamp Place, you can get a stamp here on your national park passport. Friendly workers here, there is a gentleman told me several good day hiking trails patiently. And there is a small museum there to tell you some interesting fact about the forest and the relationship between human and nature.
  A great place for information, if you are not so familiar with this area.
