  Very professional, kind and courteous officers. Never in my life have I been treated with such respect from the law. These guys are great. Keep up the great work Woodridge PD.

  Well...my situation was relatively complicated. I am commited to animals rehabilitation. Dogs in particular. This can result in unpredictable results. When a particular individual called me out on some inconsistencies regarding my training efforts, I was embarrassed, as well as taken aback...so to speak. Trouble ensued, and potential escalation seemed seriously possible. I'm not very experienced in the world of leasing. People come and go too fast. But when my new vehicle was scratched up by someone, I half assumed that I had indeed offended a man whom is every bit as human as I am. Twice police responded immediately. They did not discriminate against this man, nor against me. If there is a problem with law enforcement, it resides in other districts apparently. Because this team is exceptional!!! Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, and the wrong approach only would have agitated this man further. I do have comprehensive coverage, and will request the report # for my insurance.
  I noticed this evening that the man was out with a flashligh checking his vehicle for possible retaliation. I wish he knew that I seriously am not denying him his right to be innocent until proven guilty (it's only a car scratch for crying out loud). Anyone touches his vehicle, and you'll hear from me. I wish he knew that. My own tragedy in life has given me a choice, and I believe in making the right ones given enough years to learn what's right and wrong. But, I'm far from perfect myself.
  Woodridge Police have served me well, and I owe you this review.
  PS...now watch me screw up in some way...and receive a citation...ugghhh

  Took so much time with my grandsons when stopped in to say thank you. Excellent way to build community support through the youth. Works for both today and the future. Way to make positive change!
