  The YogaShak is a very welcoming, non judgmental environment, for anyone who wants to come and try yoga. I am fairly new to Yoga, and each instructor that I have experienced has been patient, kind, and given me suggestions and help to where I can explore the practice even more. I would recommend the Shak to anyone who wants to give this a try.

  Love the Shak. Instructors are attentive and the atmosphere is not intimidating like some studios I've visited. Classes range from intro to "kick your butt" so there's something for everyone.

  Yogashak is an extraordinary studio. In my opinion the best yoga studio in Northern Virginia. A place where you will be welcomed and embraced. The skilled sets of the instructors allow you to find the balance between flexibility and strength. They bring with them a unique element to the practice regardless of your level.
  Their restorative yoga class is phenomenal. It helped my back injury immensely.......to the point of being pain free and agile/nimble once again. The atmosphere of the studio has a cheerful energetic mood which can elevate the best of days and completely recover the cloudy days. The place where one can rehabilitate, restore and rejuvenate is Yogashak.

  GREAT Studio!! AWESOME Instructors!! Fantastic yoga that is for everyone! Some classes heated, but not HOT, love it!
