  This hotel is definitely outdated. The pool and hot tub were murky. The heater in my room didn't seem to work well, even cranked up to the max temp. The staff was friendly and the location worked well for me. It was very quiet at night, the curtains were nice and dark, and the TV had free premium channels. I ordered a pizza here and they directed him right up to my room! That was a fun surprise. I don't think I'd recommend this hotel as a luxury location, but it's fine for a one night stay.

  A great place for events. Nice accessibility to the highway. Updates are needed but clean and I do rather enjoy the history and ambience of 1980. Parking is a hike, be prepared to get wet if you forgot your umbrella!!

  Great meeting space. Clean, not overly scented with cleaning products, festive (It was the holidays,so there were Christmas trees. Efficient staff and welcoming environment.

  I attended a seminar there over the weekend. The space was very nice where the seminar was held. I live locally, so I can't comment about the rooms as I didn't need one. The food tasted good, but was pretty expensive ($20 for a burger and fries with water). Other than that, everything was good.

  My favorite hotel (so far) in Overland Park. I've stayed at the Marriott, the Embassy Suites, and now the DoubleTree, and this has been my favorite. While the grounds and common area are a bit old and dark, I enjoy the quiet feel of this hotel and love the woods that surround it. Rooms are well appointed and updated. Largest, cleanest bathrooms of the 3 properties, and definitely the nicest fitness center of these hotels. The walk through Corporate Woods to my office is a pleasant one. Great to have FirstWatch a block away as well.
