  Today I woke up with my lower lip swollen to about 3 time normal due to an infection in a tooth that had broken off at the gum line a few weeks ago. I was going to go in to see Dr Mazzella next week but the pain and swelling was to too much to take so I walked into his practice without any appointment. Since he is the only Dr in that office I expected to either be given some antibiotics and told to come back when he could help or would have to wait several hours to get it taken care of. I was in the chair within 10 minutes and a little over an hour later I was walking out with the offending tooth out and prescriptions for antibiotics and some mild pain meds.
  
  I can’t thank Dr. Mazzella and his team enough for reacting so quickly and with such compassion.

  My family has been with this practice for the past 14+ years. We all feel very comfortable with the entire staff and Dr. Mazzella has been very attentive and helpful with all of us. We have all undergone small minor procedures such as fillings, but everything was handled professionally and with great care. We definitely recommend Dr. Mazzella's practice to anyone looking for a family dentist.

  I have been going to Dr. Mazzella for many years. In addition to two cleaning/checkups each year, I have also had a root canal and two caps done. All of his work and that of his staff is excellent. When I moved from Columbia, MD to Washington, DC several years ago, I tried two other dentists in the DC area. However, in each case, I quickly realized that Dr. Mazzella and his staff were far superior to either one of them. I now happily drive the 45 minutes from DC to Woodstock so I can get great dental care.

  I have had two root canals and two crowns, and Dr. Mazzella guided me through the procedures deftly and calmly. I appreciate his depth of knowledge and ability to explain things very clearly, an uncommon trait among dentists. The office is very attractive and the people are courteous and efficient, two qualities I admire. I have only top scores to give to this office and to Dr. Mazzella directly.
