  We had a wonderful stay in room 9 and a lovely breakfast in the morning. The staff we encountered were all very hospitable and kind. We'll definitely visit again :)

  Great place to try some great wines and wonder the halls of a beautiful historic site. Also a nice place to have your wedding and spend the night!

  Honestly could not have asked for a better stay. My girlfriend had always wanted to check out the winery here so I surprised her with a quick weekend away from home. Madison made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay, even going out of her way to give her number to us so we could personally request bottle service to our suite. The bed is comfortable, the bridal suite is beautiful and quite spacious, the property itself is really neat and a perfect location for a wedding, a party, or anything in between, and the wine is quite tasty. The service we received guaranteed we will be staying here any time we come through Kansas City. We were already pleased with our choice of where to stay but Madison has single handedly taken this stay from great to perfect and exquisite. Thank you for the pleasant conversation, the incredible service and attention to detail, and taking the time to get to know us during our stay. Hopefully we'll get you every time we come to stay!

  What an incredible place!
  I could walk around here and spend an entire day just looking at the old buildings. It really is a fascinating place, with lots of history for anyone with the I do appreciate it. The main building has been completely renovated and is now and events Hall with a winery and an upstairs Hotel / bed and breakfast. the grounds themselves are still very fascinating with several places made up for like small wedding chapels and places just to sit and look at the beautiful area. The older buildings on the side it's an old nursing home and an old hospital are still run down and haven't been renovated at all. But you can see from the outside that they're just fascinating there's lots of History to be had here. And according to the people that work here the place is quite haunted!

  Not quite 5-star but close. It is the best winery to visit in the KC area. The wine is good, and it is a fun and/or interesting visit. Love the old buildings and history. The people working there are friendly and easy going.
